1. Import Duty

 ○ According to Indonesia Customs Tariff Book, HS Code heading 7112.91 is described as follows:

Import Tariffs and Taxes of HS Code 2103.90

 ○ Import duty tariff under the framework of ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area(AKFTA) is lower than the import tariff entry that applies in general. Those are imposed on imported goods which include the Certificate of Origin(Fonn AK) which have signed by the competent authorities in the countries concerned. In case the general import duty tariff is lower than in the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area(AKFTA) as contained in the Appendix, the general tariffs rate is applied.

3. Distribution Channel

 ○ Actually there is no clear data related waste automobile catalyst in Indonesia; it is hard to find company lists that work in this area. Regarding to that situation we gave you the general scheme for import-export, regulation related to item under HS Code 7112.91.

 ○ Related to export - import activity, though there is no law that regulated export for item under HS Code 7112.91, the item is regulated under the Law of Ministry of Trade of Republic of Indonesia No. No. 39/M-DAG/PER/9/2009 for its import activity. The item is one of Non-B3(Non-Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun, Non Hazardous and Toxic) items which its import is limited.

 ○ Non-B3 waste may only be imported by companies that conduct business activities and has received industry recognition as IP(Importer Producer) Non B3 Waste from the Director-General. Recognition as IP Non B3 Wastes shall contain at least the amount and type of non-B3 waste that can be imported by the IP Non-B3 Waste along with the technical provisions of the implementation of its importation. The import of non B3 waste by IP Non-B3 Waste must do verification or technical process in the country of loading before shipment. Implementation of the technical verification should be done by the surveyors who have met the technical requirements, and who is determined by the Minister.
